Sweet as Apple Pie

This manicure is for My Favorite Things Challenge. We are on Day 4, Favorite Food.

Me and apple pie go way back, lol. I can't tell you why b/c it is only between the two of us. 

As for as my base I used Sinful Color's Cross My Heart, and stamped the checker with Konad's white special polish. The nude base and the pie color is Essense Nude It, and the dark brown color is Sinful Colors Nirvana. The pie topping is acrylic.

Trying my hand at stamping. I have to give mad props to those ladies who have mad stamping skills. It is hard. I guess if I keep practicing, I can get better.

Princess Tiana

I just love doing this mani. I decided to do Disney's Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog. I am submitting it for a contest, why not.

My base color is Zoya's Mitzi and on top of that I used BM-314 stamping plate Essie's Mojito for the swirls. The rest is done by acrylic paint. Thanks for looking, and check out the other entries by clicking on the link.

Essie's Bikini So Teeny

I am not sure if I like this color yet. I am trying to get better at stamping. I am in awe of the ladies who have it down pact. I will just keep practicing. Pin It

Sunny Gradient

I used the Zoya Surf and Beach colors for this one, Myrta and Arizona. Arizona took more than 3 coats for opacity! I should've used white as a base, but my camera picks up everything, when I think the white base is covered, my camera says otherwise. I probably just have to get better at covering it up.

I stamped used WnW's I red a book. This was my second go at a gradient mani. It is getting easier. I used a makeup sponge and painted both colors and dabbed, and dabbed some more.

Purple Leopard

I used Skull and Bones by OPI as a base and stamped with a fauxnad using Essie's Smokin Hot, a deep purple. I still need to work on my stamping skills (or lack thereof), can you tell?

Late Happy Fourth

Happy Independence Day! Here is my rendering of the flag, I used a bundle monster nail plates and the Maybelline colorshow for the blue called Navy Narcissist, and wet and wild's I red a good book for the red, and wet n wild, french tip white. Have a great day!

Summer Fun Challenge, Day 1, Grill Master

A Rose My Lady

Milani's A Rose My Lady is a nice muted pale pink. I found it at CVS, part of a display. It took me three coats.

Dupe for China's Glaze, For Audrey

Here is one of the finds from Ross, Cosmetic Arts. It is a dupe for CG, For Audrey. Apparently, I have many dupes, I guess I just love the color. I added a ribbon bow to mimic the Tiffany boxes. Thanks for looking!

My First Stamping Attempt...

Hey Ladies, this is my first time stamping ever. I used fauxnads, Shany nailplates, that I ordered off of Amazon. It looks like lace but my top coat smeared it.

The base color is my previous color, Club Havanna, which made it through an afternoon of painting our dining room.

I decided to accent my ring fingers with a lace design, Shany plate 21 (SH21), using Wet n Wild's French White Creme and...

I even went all fancy and used the same color to add dots with my smallest dotting tool. Even though it is not the best, I am a lil' proud.
