This is the final day for this challenge, and it has been fun. Thanks Lindsey over at Neverland Nail Blog. This was first challenge and definitely not my last. Can't wait to do more.
This was my entry, I was lost for ideas and the hub helped me by coming up with Volleyball, thanks babe. Hope you like :)
I used 4 main colors, Orly's Old School Orange, Wet n Wild's Saved by the Blue and Silvivor, Julep's Nessa (yellow). The flowers are from acrylic paint.
This shirt reminds me of Hawaii, and it is the brightest thing I have for summer. I love the color combo.
Sorry for the late posting, I just got back from Hawaii. I thought I scheduled my other postings, but I must have done something wrong. Ooops. Here is my mani for this challenge. I didn't get to see all the creatures I painted, only the sea turtles. Hope you like it...
I can't wait to see what other participant's of this challenge come up with. Here is mine. I used China Glaze Elephant Walk for the gray side, China Glaze Black Diamond for the road, and Zoya's Creamy for the yellow divider lines. Other random colors for the rest.
I figure since I live in the high desert, Chili peppers along with the blazing sun will surely make you feel like you are melting. I made sure I had two suns, since the nearest city is Tucson.
I used Zoya's Creamy for the yellow background, and Essie's Bikini So Teeny for the blue background. The rest are acrylic paint and drawn freehand. Can't wait to see the others. **Edited to say, Inspired by Robin Moses*** She is awesome!
Beach Balls, I kind of messed up on my index, it got blurry. My favorite one is my middle finger. I added some of Essie's Shine of the Times for the pool on the ring finger. The blue is Barielle's Swizzle Stix from the Hue 2 collection.
